- Major Client BC Timber Sales. RDI has been BCTS' primary visual impact assessment consultant for the Kamloops Business Area (KBA) since 2010. We concluded our 14th straight year of successful contracts with the KBA in 2024. We have published nearly 80 BCTS VIA reports on our website for historical documentation for managing visual impacts, as well as for teaching, training, and educational purposes. Feel free to open them up and enjoy the visual simulations and photography from beautiful south-central British Columbia. The VIAs and Integrated Visual Design Plans all expertly utilize Visual Nature Studio 3-D photo-realistic software to support the techniques, analyses, and design recommendations made by RDI in ensuring that BCTS met the legislated Visual Quality Objectives as established by the Province of BC as presented in the searchable map catalogue. Our VRM page has more links to Visual Resource Management documents on-line. By maintaining each of our ArcMap and Visual Nature Studio projects over the years, BCTS benefitted from our ability to make rapid, cost-efficient updates of existing projects always at the ready. We wish the BCTS gang all the best!
